In the upcoming movie the Twilight hunk will play Stretch Armstrong - you know, that retro toy which was really stretchable *sniggers*. A representative from Universal Pictures commented yesterday:

"In the past two years, Taylor has emerged as a real star at the global box office. He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely superhero with a fantastic superpower. We couldn't be more pleased that he has agreed to be our Stretch."

Apparently the film will be recorded in 3D which means that this time next year, when it’s released into cinemas, Lautner fans will be able to experience what it’s like to have the heartthrob stretching right up into their personal space. Won’t that be enjoyable?
