At the time Beyonce eventually donated her fee from working on the film to the centre, called Phoenix House, after becoming so moved by the people she met while working there.
Well now the singer has gone one step further and has opened up the aptly Beyonce Cosmetology Centre which does exactly what it says on the tin really by offering a seven-month cosmetology training course for men and women at who end up at Phoenix House.
