In the interview Michele claims that Heather illegally taped phone Paul’s phone conversations in order to gather incriminating evidence against the ex-Beatles star to sell to the press:
“I’ve asked myself many times what Heather’s motivation was, and it all points to one thing – money. She’s a gold digger. I’m certain her marriage to Paul was all about money.”
Michele also alleges that whilst the couple were married Heather would regularly ridicule Paul behind his back:
“Heather would say on TV how much she loved her husband then take the mikey when she was with her girlfriends. She’d run down Paul as a man and be very nasty about him. She was exceptionally dismissive about him, going into graphic detail about their love lives. She was very indiscreet.”
There’s a mental image we won’t forget in a hurry. Talking about Heather’s evil plot to take Paul down, Michele alleges that Heather lied about videos she had of Paul physically assaulting her. Apparently Heather convinced Michele to set up meetings between her and TV executives to see who would offer her the most money. But when she finally met with producers she presented a five-minute edited video of happy honeymoon and family holiday clips.
“After twigging that they weren’t impressed, Heather said, ‘I’ve just realised I don’t have the tapes here. I’ve sent my bodyguard to Brighton to get them.’”
Unsurprisingly the mysterious video never materialised and the TV deal soon fell by the wayside. Michele also says that Mills asked her to lie about McCartney's financial aid while she was going through the divorce:
"I told millions of viewers Paul didn’t give her any money at all," Elyzabeth said, referring to an interview she gave with "Extra." "The media lapped it up."
In actual fact Paul doled out plenty of cash for Mills during the divorce proceedings, but Mills still tried to get out of paying Michele for her services as a publicist. The two are now embroiled in a long-running feud over the unpaid bill.
Unpaid bill eh? Now don’t get us wrong, we dislike Heather Mills as much as the next person, but do we detect a massive whiff of bitterness from Michele or what?!
