A Hilarious Stunt On The Evening News..

Is it just us or does America seem to get awfully worked up over gay issues? Well imagine how middle America felt yesterday when they sat down at tea time to watch the CNN evening news, only to be confronted with the sight of two men frantically groping each other behind a reporter talking about the collapse of the Lehman Brothers bank.

The outrageous stunt was a prank orchestrated by outlandish US radio DJ Howard Stern. But what we particularly relish about the whole scenario is the way the presenters in the studio attempt to breeze over the joke by saying the men were “consoling” each other. One comment under the YouTube clip reads:

“F***ing fags. You see what I mean about fags and them being uncivilized waste of lives. This is America! Is there any way of suing them...?”

Wow, that comment would almost be hilarious in it’s stupidity if it wasn’t so sickening and slightly frightening. Humour is just wasted on some people isn’t it?

americans are narrow minded, stupid and vulgar, not necessarily in that order. I've no idea why a counrty is can be so puritanical and sanctimonious about issues that are perfectly natural and not even batter an eye lid about the war in iraq etc etc. Humour is not wasted on some people, power is.

What the hell does this have to do with Americans.It's a simple fact thats some stations do not allow sexual content.The cut had nothing to do with the way American views gays.You British people are the stupid ones that generalize a whole country.Not shoking considering this site!
