Mariah Carey appeared on the Ellen show in the US yesterday, and during her interview Ellen decided to ask the singer whether or not she was pregnant. Instead of outright denying it, Mariah added fuel to the proverbial rumour fire when she said, whilst giggling: “I thought we weren’t going to talk about that”.

Then when presented with a glass of champagne by the show’s host, Mariah did her best to avoid taking a sip from the alcoholic beverage. In fact as far as we could tell, Mariah said very little to dispel those whispers of an alleged pregnancy. Watch the video and tell us what you think – could she really have a bun in the oven?
