The 2009 NME Award Winners...

Last night all of London’s too-cool-for-school celebrities (yes we’re being sarcastic) including Alexa Chung, Tennessee Thomas, Jaime Winstone, Alfie Allen, Peaches Geldof, Little Boots, Alice Dellal, Pixie Geldof and Noel Fielding – to name but a few - flocked to the Brixton Academy for the 2009 NME awards.

Big winners of the night included Oasis, who picked up the gong for Best British Band, Pete Doherty who collected the prize for Best Solo Act and Kings of Leon were given the award for Best International Band.

The prize for Sexiest Male went to Matt Bellamy of Muse, Alexa Chung was named Best Dressed Female, while Amy Winehouse was named Worst Dressed - unsurprisingly. However our prize for worst dressed celebrity of the evening at the NME awards went to (drum roll please)….

Well, it was a joint win for Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts, well done girls you both looked truly horrendous! For a full list of last night’s winners then click here.

those glasses are the most vile things i've ever seen and she prob thinks she looks real cool. peaches needs to learn how to apply make-up, she looks like a clown. afterparty pics please!

I think the girl (who is she?) in the vile baggy bacofoil dress and the girl (again, who is she?) in the chavvy short skirt and fishnets, are also candidates for worst dressed - though with the money Nicola and Sarah must have I would've thought they'd've got their dresses from somewhere other than Primark.

Tennesse Thomas is just another IT girl from a a girl band - Mark Ronson (tennesse bf) is now working with them. Why does she wear those glasses??? they fall of her face and yeah she prob think she is call cos she is dating Mark Ronson. I love Alexa chung though - very cool!
