Following her posh birthday bash at Vanilla club, for the second night on the trot Cheryl Cole and hubby Ashley were out on the town and when we caught up with them last night they’d just enjoyed a meal at Nobu Berkley.

But who can blame them, the happy couple have got a lot to celebrate, not only has Cheryl turned the ripe old age of 26 this week but she’s also been told that Simon Cowell is on the brink of signing a deal to take the X Factor to the US and he wants Cheryl to be the star of the show!

Apparently the big bosses from NBC are flying to Manchester this weekend to watch Cheryl in action during the live auditions and if everything goes to plan she’ll end up hosting the new US version of the hit show.

Simon Cowell is already tied into a deal with American Idol on the Fox network that prevents him from hosting it himself and…

“He thinks she has amazing presence and her down-to-earth Northern charm will appeal to the American public. She is also an incredibly beautiful girl.

“She won’t get paid anything like the million pound salary she’s on here, because obviously she is not as well known in the States. But if it is a success, like most of Simon’s shows are, it could catapult her into the big league.”

Wow, that sounds very exciting for Cheryl but what does it mean for Girls Aloud? Remember them?

If Ashley didnt do what he did she wouldnt be where she is today! Yeah she'd still be in Girls allowed doing well but we wouldnt have to see her mug in every mag, newspaper and TV screen!!! Has she been raiding Michael Jacksons wardrobe???? LOL

no9! totally agree with you, if her hub didnt do the dirty she would not have laneded the x factor job and we would not seeing her everywhere! totally making her out to be this amazing saintly beautiful woman, its a total joke! she has always been chavvy, shes just got loads of stylists behind her now telling her what to wear, without them and all the false hair extensions and veneers she would be the same chav cheryl that no one really botherd about a few years ago!

mr pap dont get ahead of yourself.she has a criminal conviction.it is very difficult to get a visa for the states if you have a criminal conviction no matter who you are.i hope she does not get it.what she did was disgusting and she shouldnt be allowed to go on like it didnt happen.god knows her victim is still living with it.she should pay for it.she shouldve gone to jail for it.that was a mistake letting her off like that.hopefully she gets punished by not being allowed in the states.she's vile and annoying and people seem to be buying into the press's version of who she really is.gullible people i say.her management control what is written about her.so you people dont get too excited about all the good press she gets.she is a vile repulsive excuse for a human being.
