Jude Law To Play Hamlet On Broadway…

When Jude Law left the Donmar Warehouse after his performance in Hamlet last night he looked well and truly knackered, but considering the long hours he’s been putting in we’re not really surprised.

But he had better get used to it as it’s just been confirmed that the critically acclaimed production is heading to Broadway in a couple of months time and Jude will be headlining the show for 12-weeks when it opens in New York in on 12th September.

Why would he retire now when he is fulfilling his dream playing Hamlet to sellout crowds and rave reviews. He was even invited to bring his Hamlet to Kronbord Castle in Denmark which is the highest accolade an actor performing Hamlet could get. Dream on. Jude is a very fine actor and he could care less about what people think. He marches to his own drum and that what makes him interesting to me unlike the vast majority of cookie cutter actors in Hollywood. I am flying over from LA to see him on stage this September and I can hardly wait.
