Leona Lewis has spoken for the first time about being attacked by a crazy fan during a book signing earlier this month.

The Happy singer was left in tears when a member of the public punched her in the face whilst she was signing copies of her new book Dreams in Waterstone’s in London.

But instead of feeling scared and upset following the incident, Leona seemed fairly blasé when she talking about the attack earlier today on Sky News.

“It could have been worse. I'm still alive. It is just something you have to deal with when you have fame and the positives far outweigh the negatives.” She said.

“I don't like to dwell on the negatives. I'm a very positive person.”
