Artist Sam Taylor Wood To Marry Her Toyboy

Plenty of celebs were on the red carpet in London last night for the premiere of Nowhere Boy, a film which is all about the early part of John Lennon’s life (pre-Beatles).

The movie is directed by artist 42-year-old Sam Taylor Wood, and the star of the flick is, surprise surprise, Sam’s 19-year-old boyfriend Aaron Johnson. Speaking of which, despite the age gap between them, the pair have today announced that they’re going to get married.

A decision we find slightly weird as Sam is actually 23 years older than Aaron Johnson, and furthermore she only met the young actor earlier this year after splitting from her husband Jay Joplin (who then went on to have a brief fling with Lily Allen).

Each to their own we suppose *shudders*. Anyway, elsewhere at the movie’s screening last night we also spotted Kristin Scott Thomas, Thomas Sangster, Anne-Marie Duff and Alison Goldfrapp…
