When Imogen Thomas called time on her four month fling with Jermain Defoe we thought she’d probably caught him cheating, after all this is Jermain ‘I hop from one reality TV babe to the next’ Defoe we’re talking about.

But the Big Brother babe has just revealed the real reason why she dumped her footballer fella and it’s actually pretty dull. She said:

“He wasn't cheating. We were together every day so I don't see how he could possibly have been.”

So why did they split? Well apparently Imogen likes to “stay in a lot, watch DVDs, make dinner and chill out” whereas Jermain likes to go clubbing. Oh, is that it? How dull.
