During the event, which was attended by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Roselyn Sanchez and of course Eva, The Reporter’s publisher Eric Mika said:

“I’ve never met a more conscientious and socially aware young, energetic talent. Eva’s efforts on behalf of the causes near and dear to her are Herculean.”

Now if like us you’re thinking, ‘Wow, I didn’t realise she was that much of a do-gooder, I just thought she was that bird from Desperate Housewives,’ then you might be interested to know that Eva founded the Heroes charity in Texas, which provides an after school programme for children with developmental disabilities and that’s just one of many charities she’s involved with.
