Earlier this week Nicole Richie checked herself into Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre as she felt particularly unwell and it’s a good job she did because it turns out she’s got pneumonia.

A spokesman the Simple Life star confirmed the news and said that Nicole had been suffering from a respiratory infection for a few days before she eventually checked herself into the hospital. She’s now responding well to treatment and will hopefully be sent home soon.
