Hordes of fans gathered in the Southern Terrace desperate to catch a glimpse of the songstress who arrived over an hour late, but what was the hold up? Traffic? Road works? Did they get lost on the way? Well not quite.

It turns out Mariah was just three miles away sipping champagne in her hotel suite with hubby Nick Cannon - Hmmm, sounds about right.
