i dnt think tht the reason why he got kicked off was coz of the song choice.The only type of music he can sing is rock.so whtz da point in lettin someone win who doesnt hav much variety?

see what the thing is most of the songs jamie sung i didnt know haha he would have done a LOT better if he sung mr brightside. thats his target audience. kings of leon song suits him, i thought he woulda sang snow patrol etc but hey ho. but nothing worse than a sore looser. why doesnt he just sign to a low key label and release what he wants let the public decide.

he got voted off cos hes a c***y little s**te, and all this just goes on to prove it. yes maybe the song choices might not have been ideal for him, but thats not why the public dont vote!! he thinks hes IT basically.

Mr Brightside is extremely famous. It annoys me now though, its been played soooooooo many times. I dont think any of the song choices are very good on the X Factor. I've never heard most of the songs they sing. Its always quite old songs that 40 year olds listen to. I also think the performances are rubbish! The dance routines, the lighting especially, the costumes the background pictures, urrrrrgh its soooo cheesy. They're so boring and dull. Whenever i watch it, i always pick out exactly how i could make it better. Lol. I know its sad, but i dont think the producers or the judges are very creative.

Why do X-Factor contestants have to be able to sing different types of songs? You wouldn't hear Rihanna singing a Queen song hitting high notes, she sticks to what she is good at. The Killers don't mix it up and perform "big band" songs, they do what they are good at. Stop with these themes and have the contestants choose their own songs, X-Factor shouldnt't be about who is most versatile; it should be about who is best at what they do and who the public most respond to. I didn't like Jamie on the show, but you can't deny his audition wasn't great. If he'd been allowed to continue in that vein he may have won everyone over. Talent sells records, not versatility. Jamie is a legend and anyone with the slightest musical savvy knows that he's the one we'll all be listening to a couple of years from now. What a shame he had to use the very low platform of the X Factor to get into the public consciousness....
