I’m A Celebrity Lost 2 Million Viewers After Katie Price’s Departure…

Last night ITV confirmed there had been a 20% drop in viewing figures for I’m A Celebrity after Katie Price quit the show on Monday night.

Previous shows attracted around 10 million but the night after Katie left they plummeted by a whopping 2 million to just 7.8! Love her or hate her you can’t help but watch her!

Meanwhile, as we reported earlier today Katie has managed to wangle her way out of her contract with ITV so she can now fly home to see her kids, but how did she manage that? Well apparently she forfeited £100k of her original £350k fee.

So all’s well that ends well eh! Erm, well apart from the low viewing figures for ITV and the huge lump of cash Katie lost, but other then that everything is just peachy!

Let's face it, everyone wanted to see KP suffer as much as possible so I can understand people not now tuning in. They'll be quite happy now that they've seen it. It's nothing to do with her popularity and as for the ratings, well if it's not interesting we won't watch will we? Much the same as any other programs. I'm pleased she has gone because I was sick of her insincerity.

I think everyone thought the rest of celebs were boreing, but everyone needs to tune in now as I have not stopped laughing since she left...the whole camp has come to life...it's great.

Come on home Katie, we can't wait to start seeing you again and can't wait to see your new reality show. We love you and you did so well in your trials - you earned every penny and I bet ITV will be planning the next TV show you can get involved in given the incredible viewing figures that they lose without you being involved. Any show that you do is likely to be a massive success. Come on the Pricey. xxx

Now that Katie's on her way home, hopefully everyone will see that she wants to be with her kids now and stop criticising her for staying out in Oz - or would that be too much to ask for ?

I see she has finished her filming for her reality show and done her interviews, collected her cash and is only now thinking about her kids and going home. I really hope that Alex goes to town in his kiss and tell at the weekend and exposes her for the true person she is - vile evil money grabbing manipulator. Will the sex pics be published and is that why she is going home to get her hands on them since her security couldnt' get them from Alex's parents house, is she going to force her way in instead - her sordid lifestyle continues to be played out in the media, just how she likes it - dirty and cheap! I just feel sorry for the kids.....

God, it was lovely and peaceful whilst she has been gone, not too much cr*p in the paper about her, a tiny little column and that was it, now it will be FRONT PAGE when she lands, Who ****ing cares about her! I agree with No.9, ONLY now is she coming back after she has done what she wanted to do!!! Hopefully she will realise just how hated she is and come back with her tail between her legs rather than a random man lol

Agree with 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9 + 10. God i'm glad she left, i can watch it now! Can't stand her, her face, her voice, they make me feel sick. Her contract was broken when she walked out, she was free to leave, just like Camilla when Camilla walked, except Camilla chose to jump on the first plane out of there & Katie wanted a free holiday after. Those poor kids having her as mother. It will be a shock to the kids when she gets back, takes them off Pete, sees them for an hour then she will either force them to do a OK shoot or dump them with the nannies to go swanning off somewhere. Nothing changes with her. And it wouldn't suprize me if the whole 'Dumping Alex' thing was a lie. She will be back with him by next week, you watch! TEAM PETE & KIDS!!

Juicy...Katie Price's reunion with her children will have to wait another day after the model was unable to find a first class flight home from Australia...wolla' she doesn't know what the reservation is? Oh, just an excuse to remain far away...She got what she deserve!
