Just as Cheryl has debuted her latest solo track today comes the news that Nadine Coyle is apparently going to star in Celebrity Big Brother.

The Daily Mail claim the “cash strapped” singer is going to appear on the programme in a bid to revive her ailing career, and to sort out an unpaid tax bill of £100,000 over in the US.

It’s thought she’s signed a £500,000 deal to star in the TV show for four weeks this summer. An inside source told them:

'This money will allow Nadine to clear all her debts in America and start the Girls Aloud tour with a clean slate. Initially, when she was approached by the station to take part, she turned it down flat.

'But when she met TV executives in London last week and saw how much was on the table she eventually agreed. They simply made her an offer she couldn't refuse.'

The source added:

‘Cheryl is not the only member of the band that can command big TV show appearance fees.'

Yes but she probably wouldn’t consider starring in Big Brother, so….

When Natasha Giggs Tweeted, “Can only imagine the headlines after tonight's pics.... What a great night!!!! #CBB made me bloody good friends...!!" we thought we were in for a real treat this morning when a bunch of photos of the CBB housemates landed in our inbox, but it turns out we were wrong.

The most scandalous thing Natasha appeared to be getting up to was holding hands with Kirk Norcross. Ooooh.

We suppose if we were really pushed for something to write about we could make a comment about holding hands with another man is probably not the best way to go about winning your husband back after you cheated on him with his brother, but we can’t really be bothered because it’s not that interesting, is it?

Instead we’ll just stick to the rather tedious facts, Natasha, Kirk and Frankie started their evening at the Sanctum Hotel in Soho, before heading to Gilgamesh in Camden for a bite to eat with Nicola McLean and her hubby. The End.

Not many of the CBB housemates had a good word to say about the Shannon twins once they’d been evicted from the BB house, and that’s probably why the girls didn’t attend the reunion party at Sugar Hut over the weekend.

Instead the Playboy Twins, who are still in Blighty, made do with having a party of their own; they headed in Landan to treat themselves to a so-called “fish pedicure”. However we were treated to a fishy surprise of our very own when one of the girls (to be honest we can’t really tell which is which) ended up showing off a bit more of herself than she’d intended to.

Despite recently describing going on Celebrity Big Brother as the “worst experience” of her life, Nicola McLean looked surprisingly happy when she reunited with her housemates from the reality show at Sugar Hut in Essex over the weekend.

Mind you, that probably had something to do with the fact that the twins weren’t at the do – something that we’re sure put a smile on Natalie Cassidy’s face too.

The former EastEnders actress joined Nicola for the get-together as did Gareth Thomas, Kirk Norcross, Frankie Cocozza and Andrew Stone, while Denise Welch chose to give it a miss.

Meanwhile, proving what a classy young fella he really is, Frankie Cocozza has chosen this weekend to announce that he’s slept with around 200 girls in the last year.

The greasy haired fuzz ball reckons he manages to get his end away at least four times a week. He told the highly reputable publication The Daily Star:

'Whenever I've got a gig or a party I'll always s*** someone. It happens at least four times a week,'

'It's so easy to get them to s*** you. After you've been on TV for two minutes everyone wants to get in bed with you – it's ridiculous. But I definitely enjoy it.

Woaaa we were not expecting this one but the Loose Woman star who has had somewhat of a tumultous time in the house, was crowned the winner last night.

As she learnt she had beaten the bookies favourite Frankie Cocozza she looked genuinely shocked and screamed “No!”. We were shocked too love.

And as she walked out of the doors for the last time, she gave a cheeky bra flash, which has become almost like her trademark, hasn’t it? And you know what, we’re pretty pleased she won, because let’s face it; the house would not have been the same without her.

Once out Brian quizzed her on her ongoing love/hate relationship with Michael, asking what was going on, to which she replied:

“Brian, you tell me because 'til the day I die I will not understand that man. I'm a pathetic people pleaser but I've learnt that I can't please everyone.”

Anyway, we’re pleased she beat him and also managed to wipe that smug look of the twins’ faces. They ended up in fifth place, Michael was in fourth and Gareth, who we were sure would come first, took home third place.

Or should we rephrase that question because who should, and who will win Celebrity Big Brother this series are two very different questions.

Five people are now left in the house – the twins (they count as one, obvs), Michael Madsen, Frankie Cocozza and Denise Welch. However bookies odds are predicting that the competition is only really between two people; Frankie and Gareth – and of those two it’s most likely going to be Cocozza who wins.

We won’t deny that it would be quite nice to see Frankie scoop glory after everything that happened to him on X Factor however, if we had to decide the winner based on their strength of character, their likability and their charm then surely Gareth should win?

We’re torn, and frankly wrangling over this question is hurting our pretty little heads. So instead we’ll just ask you – who should win BB: Frankie, Gareth, the twins, Michael or Denise? WHO?!

Celebrity Big Brother is almost over (major sad face); the final of the programme is this evening and it looks as though it’s going to be a close call between either Gareth or Frankie winning the show.

One person who certainly won’t be receiving that crowning glory however is Nicola McLean, because she (along with Romeo) got evicted from the house the other day. We’ve had a little chat with the lady herself to find out about her time in the BB pad, and of course what she thought about that epic catfight. Here’s what she had to say…

When you look back at the show do you feel sorry for Denise?

No, if you were in there you would feel differently. Every time Big Brother provided some wine, things would change. I love Denise a lot, I was just upset that she felt that because the twins or myself had done modelling, topless - or now I’m out I can see the twins have done a lot more than that - it would be a choice that we would have done that, not that someone would have pulled our top up or top down – that was my point. I really like Denise. I think my point was right but it got blown out of proportion because we’d all had a few wines.
