Rihanna has finally opened up about the night Chris Brown assaulted her.

In the first of a two part interview which aired on Good Morning America in the US today, the singer urged victims of domestic abuse not to go back to their abuser like she did. “Eff love” she told interviewer Diane Sawyer “love is so blind”.

The second part of Rihanna’s interview will be aired tomorrow.

Well lets hope that she can move on from it. She is still very young & has her career all for her. There are many boys that would love to date Rhianna & would treat her right. To be honest I always thought Chris Brown looked young for her. He’s a boy clearly not a man yet! He’s a *********!!

funny how she is ready to talk now!! just as she is about to release her new material.... she could of spoke out earlier instead of parading around like a fashion victim... now the single is ready to release, time to remind the public that she is an abused victim..

Wow Chris Brown is exposed as a liar! As he sat on Larry King saying there was no other domestic violence other than that one time! He sat there and lied! Rihanna said 8 or 9 times! This just confirms my thoughts all along. Chris is NOT sincere. Shame on you Chris Brown!

Domestic violence shouldn't be a taboo. I agree with everything Rihanna said and I admire her for talking so openly about it. Hopefully it will help women and especially young girls, who are in the same situation.
