Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit For Earthquake Relief telethon in Los Angeles, California, USA. 22/01/2010

Just about every celebrity who’s ever existed took part in the Hope For Haiti Now fundraiser over the weekend, which raised millions of pounds for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti.

The event, which took place on both sides of the Atlantic, was organised by George Clooney, and was beamed to 640 million homes in 60 countries.

In LA celebs such as Justin Timberlake, Cameron Diaz, Gerard Butler, Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, Katy Perry, Russell Brand, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts and Leonardo DiCaprio (to name just a few) helped to raise funds, whilst in London Rihanna, Bono and The Edge lent their names to the cause to.

I agree with Sam. How many of these celebrities are actually donating anything more to the people of Haiti than their ugly ego inflated mugs! All they like to do is be seeeeeen! Are the people of this country so dumb that they need a record in return for their donation to charity, whey can't we just give without wanting something in return?
