Pete Doherty To Be Quizzed Over Heiress Drug Death...

As Pete Doherty walked scott free from court yesterday with a slap on the wrist and a fine, it emerged that a documentary filmmaker who’d recently become very close with the Babyshambles frontman had died of a suspected drug overdose.

Robyn Whitehead, a member of the uber rich Goldsmith dynasty, was found dead in a block of flats - where Doherty used to live - on Sunday.

She’d spent the last ten days of her life apparently filming a documentary about the singer’s life and his relationship with the press following his romance with Kate Moss.

Pete's friend and music collaborator Peter “Wolfman” Wolfe and his girlfriend were said to have been at the scene when paramedics arrived and found Robyn dead. A close source the Goldsmith heiress said last night:

“She had been working very closely with Pete Doherty and Pete Wolfe over the past ten days finishing another film. She was absolutely exhausted.

“The last scenes that she was filming included living inside the Doherty world.”

At the moment Robyn’s death is not being treated as suspicious, however Doherty is expected to be questioned by a coroner when an inquest is held and could face police inquiries about how the drugs, which lead to the filmmaker’s death, were obtained.

Whitehead’s death comes just weeks after the family of actor Mark Blanco, who fell to his death after a row with Doherty at a party in East London, claimed they had 'new evidence' to prove Blanco was unlawfully killed.
