Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole has received a four-month driving ban and a £1,000 fine after he was recently caught doing 104mph in a 50mph zone.

Cheryl Cole’s hubby wasn’t present at Kingston magistrate court as his team is playing a match tomorrow and he’ll be travelling today, but in his absence his legal team launched an appeal against the ban.

Also, for some strange reason, they requested 21 days to pay the fine and even though it takes him approximately 21 seconds to earn a grand, the magistrates granted it.

If Ashley is caught driving during his ban he could face prison.

GREAT....my son lost his driving licence for being on his mobile and the not having his seat belt on.And now he has to pay DOUBLE fees for his driving licence and DOUBLE for his re test.

That sorts of speeds even on the motorway are dangerous and silly never mind in a 50 zone, we have speed limits for a reason!!! I think he should have got a onger ban than that... lets face it any 1 other than a celeb would have!!!

Chased by the papos is no excuse for doing 104 in a 50 and Poe Public would have been jailed, lost their licence for a year minimum and paid fees. He's fecking lucky at four months i say.
