She’s been campaigning to bring the people - as she sees it - behind her brother’s death to justice for months now, but last night La Toya Jackson seemed distinctly unhappy about the news that Michael’s personal doctor, Conrad Murray, is set to be charged with involuntary manslaughter.

When asked by waiting reporters outside Mr. Chow Restaurant in LA yesterday (where we spotted her) how she felt about the charge against Murray, La Toya replied:

"He should have been charged with premeditated (manslaughter).”

This seems to be a sentiment echoed by the rest of the Jackson family as premeditated manslaughter carries a more serious sentence. The family’s lawyer, Brian Oxman, said:

"I spoke to La Toya Jackson, she wants justice for her brother.

"She is upset and has been upset about Michael's death. I spoke to Joseph Jackson. He wants justice for Michael. They are not angry, they are not vindictive, they are heartbroken. They do not think that the charge of involuntary manslaughter is appropriate. They feel that it is a slap in the face.”

Meanwhile Conrad Murray is set to appear in court tomorrow where it looks as though he’ll face charges over Michael’s death.
