Another DJ is expected to fill in for Vernon, amid concerns that listeners will text in negative comments following the news that the presenter has been sending raunchy messages to five different women on the side.
Sounds like a wise decision indeed! The bit about him pulling out of his radio show this Saturday that it is, not the bit about him sending raunchy texts to five different women other than his wife. Obviously.
Anyway, as Vernon tries his best to salvage his marriage, his wife Tess Daly has reportedly been telling pals that she’s “shattered” and “devastated” over her hubby’s sex-text shenanigans. One of her friends said:
"This is the man she has two little girls with, a beautiful home and a six-year marriage. She thought she knew him, but she said 'the trust is gone' and I think it will take a while to regain that trust in the marriage."
Apparently the couple aren’t planning to split for now, however Vernon will most definitely be in the “doghouse for some time to come”. Where he belongs by the sounds of it…
