The 40-year-old was found hanged in his flat at 10am this morning. A source at McQueen’s office commented today:
“It is a tragic loss. We are not making a comment at this time out of respect for the McQueen family.”
Alexander was reportedly left devastated when his mother passed away just over a week ago. He admitted to his followers on Twitter that he was having trouble dealing with her death, but was trying to move on with his life:
"i'm letting my followers know the my mother passed away yesterday if it she had not me nor would you RIP mumxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx but life must go on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sic),".
Just days later he said on Twitter:
"Sunday evening been a f**king awful week but my friends have been great but now i have to some how pull myself together (sic)."
