Last night, as Ashley nursed a broken ankle that could jeopardise his place in the World Cup squad and see him replaced by Wayne Bridge (dun dun duhhhh!!) – the Chelsea defender told of his embarrassment after ‘somebody’ sent nude pictures of him to a topless model.
Ashley claims he gave an old mobile phone to a pal without realising it contained pictures he’d taken of himself “in all his glory” when he was larking around with his teammates.
This so-called pal pretended to be Ashley and allegedly sent the snaps to a topless model who replied with some racy pictures of herself.
Cheryl Cole’s hubby told The Sun:
“I can't believe I gave a phone away that still had stuff in its memory. I thought I'd deleted it.
“It seems I was wrong as someone has used it to pretend to be me. I would laugh if my foot didn't hurt so much.”
What do you reckon? We think it sounds EXTREMELY suspicious!
