Apparently the pair were going to arrive at the Baftas together on Sunday as an official couple (you know, hand-in-hand and everything) but decided not to at the last minute because of obsessive Twilight fans. Following the film awards ceremony over the weekend, Rob told one reporter:
“It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes.”
“We can't arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it's impossible. We are here together and it's a public event but it's not easy.”
“We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention.”
Well, at least the truth is finally out in the open *breathes a massive sigh of relief*….
