And the award for the most awards given out at a single award show goes to… *drum roll* …the NME Awards!!

Last night the indie crowd flocked to the Brixton Academy to watch performances from Kasabian, Lily Allen and Paul Weller, to name but a few, as various awards were handed out.

Lady GaGa wasn’t present at the star spangled bash, but nevertheless she still managed to scoop two awards, one for the Best Dressed the other for the Worst Dressed – Oh, how ironic *rolls eyes*

Meanwhile, other winners included Artic Monkeys for Best Live Band, JLS for Worst Band and Jamie T for Best Solo Artist.
