So, as we saying yesterday, George Clooney has decided to sell his plush, multi-million pound, 30 bedroom villa on the corner of Lake Como in Italy (to the Beckham’s most probably) because it’s not secluded enough, and the actor has now decided to purchase another house on Lake Como.

Except for that when we say “house”, what we actually mean is “castle”, and when we say “on Lake Como” what we actually mean is “on a tiny Island situated on Lake Como”.

In fact rumour has it that Clooney has actually bought the fairytale castle as a present for his girlfriend Elisabetta Canali.

Does anyone else hate Elisabetta Canali just a little bit right now?

UPDATE: George Clooney has denied he’s planning to sell his house in Lake Como in order to buy this castle. In a statement he said: "to complete the news cycle: I am not buying an island and am not selling my house in Italy. "The story was made up, then picked up and now denied. End of another riveting day of false news."
