Well, earlier today - for some reason - the Smile singer took part in a photocall to promote the launch of a new festival called Vintage At Goodwood which will apparently be the first festival to combine music, fashion, design and retail in order to celebrate five decades of British cool - or summik like that anyway (not that we just copied and pasted that last sentence from a press release of anything).
Anyway, in some slightly more interesting news, Lily seems rather confused about whether or not she wants to make another album.
A while ago the outspoken star said she was planning to quit music for good once she’d finished touring.
However last night at the NME awards she told one reporter that she actually plans to take a five year break from making music in order to concentrate on other projects - such as starting a record label and launching a vintage clothes shop – before eventually making another album. She said:
"I'm not making another album for a bit, maybe in five years"
However, rather confusingly, in a separate recent interview Lily contradicted herself by saying:
“I’m just not making another album. It’s a really big commitment to do an album these days” She added: “I’ve got a boyfriend and I’ve got a house and I’d quite like to have children soon. So it doesn’t really work into those plans.”
Anyone else slightly baffled?
