Whilst we know that on one level the Oscars are about rewarding those people who make truly good films (boring!), on another level we also realise that the Oscars are more about glamorous parties, red-carpet fashion faux-pas and horrendous style disasters (yay!).
In fact there’s nothing we love more than watching celebrities walk down the red carpet in hideous frocks around Oscars time followed by a good old star-studded knees up.
Which brings us nicely to our point, last night ahead of the Oscars a whole bunch of celeby-types – such as Ian Somerhalder, Rachel Zoe, Diane Kruger, Joshua Jasckon, Elizabeth Banks, Ginnifer Goodwin and Rose McGowan – got together for a Chanel pre-Oscars bash at Madeo Restaurant in LA.
There were no style disasters at yesterdays Chanel pre-party but we remain hopeful that we’ll see at least one stinker on the red carpet tonight. Fingers crossed…
