The Mean Girls actress is seeking £67million worth of damages from a company who made an advert which features a “milkaholic” baby called Lindsay, as she thinks the commercial is taking a swipe at her.
The firm behind the television add claim that Lindsay is simply a common name they chose to use, but Dina doesn’t seem to buy that completely legitimate and totally likely excuse.
She says Lindsay rang her after seeing the commercial, which was aired during the SuperBowl, in an “extremely upset” state. According to Dina, LiLo said:
“Mommy, help me. This is wrong. How can they do this?’”
Much like her deluded offspring, Dina thinks that the commercial clearly intended to take the p*** out of her daughter, because according to her Lindsay is as much a recogisable celebrity name as Cher, Madonna, or even Oprah. She said:
“They’re little babies doing this, mocking another child who’s just trying to survive Hollywood, basically. I’m just basically glad I took a stand. I’m not going to let them do this to us anymore. Everyone knows Lindsay, like Cher or Madonna.”
Somebody tell us she’s joking right? *Silence* What you mean she’s being serious?! Oh dear god…
