In fact the actor (who we spotted outside the Radio 1 studios earlier) nearly caused the entire female (and maybe some male) populace to spontaneously combust yesterday when he suggested that he’d consider dating an “English” woman.
Speaking on This Morning yesterday, the Gossip Girl star said he finds it hard to date trustworthy women in New York (oh boo friggedy hoo you chiselled hunk), adding:
“It is tough, you get a bit wary... I'm not really coming home crying every night but it makes it a little bit trickier to trust.
“Maybe I'll resort back to Texas...or maybe an English girl."
Oh, comments like that can be very dangerous Chace, especially when you’re grounded in the UK for the foreseeable future (ya know, on account of that volcanic ash cloud being in our airspace) – let’s hope you’ve got some decent security to fend off any particularly amorous English suitors…
