It’s just a shame though that someone wasn’t keeping such close tabs on Lindsay back in 2007 while she was making that critically panned movie I Know Who Killed Me because, according to the film’s director, LiLo caused all kinds of strife while on set and was basically a complete nightmare to work with.
In a new interview this weekend Chris Silverston revealed that the Mean Girls star barely turned up to work, so in order to keep the movie on schedule they were forced to hire a body double. He said:
"Most days we wouldn't know what happened (with her). We just found out that day. At some point it became, 'How can I complete the movie?' That was my one and only goal - not to have it fall apart."
As a consequence of her tardiness, filming for the project over ran by three months, and at some points in the movie Lindsay’s face actually had to be grafted onto a body double during the post-production stage in order to make it look as though the actress had turned up to work. That probably goes some way to explaining why the film was so dire...
