Pete Doherty is so skint he can’t even afford to pay the rent on his grotty basement flat and things have got so bad for the Babyshambles frontman that he’s been spotted playing acoustic gigs in bars along Camden High Street.
A source close to the singer revealed:
“Pete is completely broke. He’s found this squalid pad and he’s doing shows for any cash landlords will offer.”
Okay, we realise this isn’t the most riveting story in the world, but we thought it was a good excuse to show you a pretty little picture or Pete’s sweaty little face.
And anyway, you don’t have to worry about poor little Petey too much because he’s lined up to play both Leeds and Reading Festival with The Libertines this summer, which will land him a tidy share of £1.5million – Phew, panic over.
