Yes it’s safe to say that the Mean Girls star was in surprisingly high spirits when we spotted her on Friday night while she was having dinner on a yacht in Cannes with the likes of Lady Victoria Harvey (WTF?!) despite the fact that a) she was in some proper legal strife, and b) a photo had just emerged of the actress posing with some pals right next to a couple of lines of some “mystery white powder”.
Lindsay claims that the picture (taken just a few days ago) was simply an "untrue set-up" and has privately named an associate of hers who she believes is behind the image. Apparently the judge in Lindsay’s DUI case won’t be counting the now infamous picture as evidence in her hearing, which is due to be taking place on Monday.
Let’s just hope that given this latest turn of events, Lindsay will actually manage to make it on time to the courthouse, otherwise god knows what will happen. The preliminary signs for her turning up to the hearing look good though; having got her passport back earlier this week Lindsay jetted back to LA yesterday…
