That’s because the piano GaGa’s playing in this picture, in case you already didn’t know, isn’t just any old piano – it’s John Lennon’s old piano and it seems as though avid Beatles fans have taken some offence to GaGa playing Lennon’s treasured instrument in her fishnets.
After Sean Lennon posted this picture of GaGa playing the piano while at his mother Yoko Ono’s house, he spent the next few days responding to angry tweets from his followers. Defending his decision to let GaGa play on it, Sean said:
“Pianos are meant to be played. Why is everyone so uptight?
'What should we do, lock it away in a dusty room? So judgemental... Come on, lighten up... life's too short, there are enough real problems in the world.’
He added: 'Firstly, he gave that piano to my mother for her birthday it is hers, secondly, he was not uptight the way you seem to be.'
Blimey is it just us or is this a big old fuss over nothing?
