Jen had been in the capital for just a few short days while launching her new fragrance – which was imaginatively called Jennifer Aniston.
Although, in Jen’s defence the pong was supposed to be called the slightly more artful name of Lolavie, however that name had to be ditched at the very last second as it was decided it was far too similar to Marc Jacobs’ scent for women called Lola. Talking about the last minute name change, Aniston explained:
“It’s a long story and honestly it’s too personal to tell, but it has a special significance.”
“It turned out as we were getting close to the launch, there was something out there that was very similar and it was just going to get very confusing in the marketplace. And at such a late hour, I didn’t want to postpone the launch so the only thing we could really clear was my name.”
Never mind we could think of worse names to call a perfume that’s for sure – like Jodie Marsh.
