As we’ve already said, the most advanced French phrase that we can muster (at a push) is “Je voudrais une petits filous” so we’ve got no idea if Rihanna’s tattoo is actually supposed to say Fleur Rebelle instead of Rebelle Fleur – but Rihanna reckons that Rebelle Fleur is definitely the correct way to say it. She told her fans recently:
"Rebelle fleur translates to rebel flower, NOT rebellious flower, its 2 nouns so in that case fleur does not HAVE to be first!"
There, you have been told. Now can we all put this sordid little mess behind us? Good.
