Natalie Cassidy has reportedly lifted the restraining order she took out against her violent ex and friends close to the former Eastenders actress claim she has also rekindled her relationship with Adam Cottrell.
The pair, who were previously engaged to be married and have one daughter together, split last year after a series of blazing rows, during which Adam assaulted Natalie with a slipper.
A spokesman for the Celebrity Big Brother star told The Mirror:
“The restraining order against Adam has been lifted due to Adam seeking help for his alcohol dependency. As a result, Natalie and Adam are on civil terms.”
While a friend added, “Adam is a genuinely lovely guy and he has been working very hard to deal with the issues which had come between them.
“Natalie loves him very much and they have a strong bond through Eliza.
"They’re enjoying spending time together again and recently celebrated Adam’s birthday together. They are determined to give Eliza the best possible start in life.”
