We’re not sure what to make of the latest rumours that newly single Russell Brand has set his sights on Zooey Deschanel. It seems a little bit too obvious to link Russ to Zooey as she’s basically Katy Perry’s double, but nevertheless that’s what’s happened and for all we know it could be true.
Closer magazine claims, “Russell is a big fan of Zooey and would love to work with her in the future.
“He's been in contact, asking to meet up.
“He thinks she's hysterically funny and cute too. He loves her quirky sense of humour. There seems to be a spark there.”
Hmmm, we’re still no convinced.
Meanwhile speaking of Mr Brand we caught up with the funnyman strolling around Beverly Hills with a pal yesterday.
