TV presenter and model Kelly Brook, 32 hit back at her critics today. The curvy star who was axed as a judge from TV talent show Britain’s Got Talent after just two days, back in 2009, said she felt far from humiliated when she was told the bad news.

Pretty Kelly told this week’s Fabulous Magazine “I’ve got no regrets. It didn’t work out and you know what? I’m actually quite flattered that it didn’t because that says something about me. The whole thing is a circus and I don’t want my life to be like that. I am straight forward.”

New mother and current Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden took a swipe at Kelly earlier this month suggesting that new judge Alesha Dixon would do a better job, Amanda told a reporter ‘she has something else – a brain.”

Kelly, who is now concentrating on her new bed linen range following the success of her lingerie line said: “If I’d been a Strictly Judge, there would be nothing that would take me from that job. Strictly is the most fantastic, lovely show with a very loyal following and it’s… classy”.

“I’ve been on both sides and for me there’s a warmth and a niceness to Strictly that BGT simply doesn’t have. You can feel the love from everyone on the Strictly Set and that really wasn’t the case on BGT. It’s a huge machine, a juggernaut with lots of very ambitious people involved.”

Sounds like the model turned designer Kelly Brook has done a lot of growing up. Seeing as Strictly beat X Factor in the TV ratings war – Kelly’s latest comments may leave Simon with a sour taste in his mouth.
