We doubt anyone has called a boob job fortuitous before, but that’s exactly what it was for Danielle Lloyd because when she went to have hers this week doctors ended up finding a blood clot, which they’ve now been able to operate on.

The discovery came at a cost however; the reality star lost a lot of blood during the surgery and had to have a transfusion.

Fans became concerned about her state of health when she simply Tweeted “blood transfusion”. Last night she then went onto elaborate:

‘Thanks 4 ur support had a scheduled breast op but Dr's found a blood clot & I lost lots of blood so now having a transfusion am in good hands & I will hopefully be home to my family tomorrow scary times love my family so much Xxx’

She later added: “also people might think am selfish 4 wanting a boob job but if I didn't have an op they wouldn't have found the clot & I could of died!”

Danielle was due to go under the knife to have her old implants replaced ahead of her wedding, but it now looks as though that procedure will have to wait for the time being. She told her followers:

“I couldn't have the op & my implants removed as it was 2 dangerous so now I have 2 hope I get better 2 have them replaced before my wedding”

We hope she gets better soon. By the way, are people normally allowed to use their phone this much while in hospital?
