Leona Lewis’s Throat Surgery Fears…

Leona Lewis may be poised to scoop the number one slot in the US charts this week-making her the first British female singer to do so in more than 20 years but unfortunately the former receptionist from Hackney has more important things to worry about....

A well-placed source has revealed in order to stop her recurrent bouts of tonsillitis the X-Factor winner may need to have her tonsils removed:

‘Leona has been consulting top throat surgeons in Britain and America. Any operations are scary. But for a singer to have a throat op is particularly terrifying.’

Doctors have advised that although it may seem daunting surgery would be the only solution.
