A close source to Madonna has revealed that the Madge-Ritchie union might just be coming to an end. This won’t come as a surprise to those of us who saw the photographs of her dragging round a distinctly bored looking Guy at the premiere of her new documentary, I am Because We Are, in Cannes. But now it seems that Madge has had enough of the constant arguing "about everything" with Guy, who is ten years younger than her.
In the past, cradle-snatching Madge has wined to friends that Guy often treats her with cold indifference, drinks ‘way too much for his own good’ and spends little time with her and their three children. Friends also say that the couple have been living virtually separate lives since the start of the year and have even divided their homes into his and hers sections so they don’t have to see each other.
Madge has owned a 6,000sq ft apartment overlooking Central Park for the past 20 years and now it looks as though there are signs she is planning to move back there. The pop diva has apparently purchased the adjoining apartment and is planning to enlarge her currently enormous flat to accommodate her children and unnecessary hordes of staff.
The close source said: “she leaves for NY at the start of June and won’t be back until October. She has talked about the children going with her but she hasn’t mentioned Guy once."
Could this be a sign the couple are to separating? Will this make Madge more of a leather-faced moany old wench? Is that even humanly possible?
