Arriving almost an hour late for the Rock In Rio festival, in Lisbon, the beehived wonder crept on stage wearing a trade-mark skimpy outfit with lashings of eyeliner.
"Hey Lisbon," Winehouse told the crowd, who had booed when she failed to show up on time. "I'm sorry I'm late."
Her performance received mixed opinions from the sell out crowd; her weak and crackly throat hindered her from belting out her classic tunes in her usual manner and her wrist injury rendered her unable to play the guitar.
Guzzling booze and sucking on lozenges through her set, Amy played only two thirds of the song list she was due to perform at the Portuguese gig. At one point the scrawny singer dashed off stage unannounced only to run back on a minute later.
The crowd wasn't thoroughly thrilled with the singer’s lacklustre and erratic performance, and eventually she left stage without playing an encore, but most of the audience seemed to have lost interest by then anyway.
Well, at least she actually made it to the gig this time, it’s a start…
