Daniel was treated in hospital after the accident, which happened as he was shooting an action sequence at Pinewood Studios.

Only a few weeks ago Daniel’s face was slashed in another action sequence during filming, leading him to need eight stitches.

This incident is the latest in a string of accidents during the making of Quantum of Solace; last weekend a fire at Pinewood caused damage to one of the movie's outdoor sets, and earlier this year two stunt drivers were injured in car accidents in Italy.
