According to reports a motorbike swiped Lilo in the early hours of Saturday morning. The Mean Girls actress sustained only minor injuries, but was subsequently admitted to Beth Israel Medical Centre in Manhattan. An employee at the facility later confirmed the star had been treated and released at about 4am local time. Later that day Lilo’s estranged father, Michael, admitted Lilo had been involved in an accident. He told reporters: "She's not hurt. That's all I really care about."

Shortly after however, Lilo’s rep denied the incident saying: “I spoke to Lindsay and she said nothing happened.”
