A surprise birthday party was held for Amy Winehouse at Jazz After Dark in Soho and a few faces turned up for it, including Amy's Mother Janis, newly single Mark Ronson and Adele. The club owner had also created a few paintings to give to Amy as a present. One was of Amy and Blake, and the other was of Amy's beloved Nan. London, UK. 13/09/2008

In case you didn’t know: it’s Amy’s 25th birthday today - congratulations Miss. Winehouse. To celebrate the occasion, a few of Amy’s celebrity pals decided to throw an impromptu surprise party for the star at one of her favourite London venues; Jazz After Dark in Soho. A newly single Mark Ronson, Adele and Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace all turned up to the shindig, and as a special treat the bar’s owner kindly created a few loving paintings as a birthday present for Amy. How sweet. But guess what the biggest surprise of the whole evening was?

Amy didn’t turn up…surprise! We wonder what she was getting up to instead?

what the f**k does aisleyne look like she always looks like a horse to me her face i mean and what a suprise amy didnt turn up she proably forget and i wouldnt call aisleyne a CLEBERITY i was reading an interview in the daily mail sunday by nikki grahame its about her anerexia a terrible story but shes writing a book and a documentry may be done to aware people of anerexia by nikki, 1 of the best bb housemates ever !!!!!!

Amy's casket is going to be at least 45 minutes late to her funeral when she passes on. Didn't any one of these so called friends have her number and trick her some way into coming and partying with them? It's a lovely idea, but they should've told her they were going to throw her a party so she could've at least been an hour or so late.

I was at Jazz After Dark for Amy's Birthday party, the resident artist Sam was assigned by Amy's dad Mitch to do a portrait of Cynthia, Amy's Grandmother. He has also painted Blake and Amy for her, I saw about 10 portraits of Amy displayed in Jazz After Dark as Sam said he planned to show this off as a fanclub to Amy, it's worth seeing. Mark Ronson has also asked Sam at Jazz After Dark to paint his portrait, proving how popular Jazz After Dark is with Amy's friends.

Amy is a talent which cannot be ignored, she is unlucky to fall in love with Blake as he is clearly bad for her. I saw her several times in Jazz after Dark and she is really lovely, kind & sweet. That is why resident artist Sam Shaker choose her as his favourite subject for oil portraits, currently he is exhibiting about ten of her portraits in Jazz after Dark, Ok the drugs are effecting her but spare a thought for her situation...she has only been married for a short time & her husband is in jail for the past year. Put yourself in her shoes and never judge the book by the cover.
