Robert Pattinson Doesn’t Like To Be Touched

Even though Robert Pattinson is British, people in the UK aren’t that well acquainted with the young star. But in America it’s a completely different story.

On the other side of the Atlantic, teenage girls salivate like wild dogs for the man – in a metaphorical sense of course. And now Robert has started to find his newfound fame quite a burden; in a recent interview he admitted that he sometimes fears for his safety when he’s around particularly overzealous admirers:

"People ambush me in public and ask me to bite them and want to touch my hair. I just don’t want someone to have a needle and give me AIDS and I don’t want to get shot or stabbed. This is my life."

Robert has now become so paranoid about his security that during the LA press release of his new vampire flick Twilight, he started worrying about the extreme things his fans could do:

"I thought, ‘Oh my God. Are they going to blow the place up?’"

Um, delusional much?! We caught up with the heart-throb promoting Twilight along with his co-star Kristen Stewart In Paris yesterday. We wonder what new kind of horrors he was worried about coming into contact with whilst in France? We’ve had AIDS, stabbings and bombings, what next… Bird Flu?

He will never last in this town (Hollywood) with those kinds of silly fears. Especially this early on. So for those of you who feel he is hot---you'd better enjoy him while you can. "Blow the place up" is ludicrous and very self-agrandizing.

I think he looks creepy, pale, awful teeth and that f***ing mono brow? Every time I look at him I want to puke or gag, he needs to get a tan. Just the pale skin with the stubble, not a good look. SHAVE BETWEEN YOUR F***ING EYEBROWS PLEASE!

I just can't see a single thing that's hot about him. His face looks likes it's been smashed between two doors. His acting is horrible as well.

i suggest watching the movie. it's terrible! but he is gorgeous in it, all suppressed, burning, sexual desire. made me feel 13 all over again, swoon!

i must say, i would be extremely paranoid being at his age about my new found fame..... seriously think about it...if you had 100's or 1000's of young teens boys and girls screaming your name and wanting you to bite them, well one would think that thought of what's next.... and to be honest he is a handsome guy tho we all know movie stars love well other stars so i guess unless we're in their shoes we can't be judgemental on how they feel about their security...

Give the guy a break! He went from unknown to world famous in the space of 9 months. He has been handling it well and everyone gets a little paranoid when you suddenly become unable to have privacy, are watched constantly and no there are over zealous fans who could mean you ill. Paranoid is understandable...Rob has been really nice and kind to the fans and always takes time to sign and be friendly. He isa sweetheart.
