The former Hollyoaks star and has told pals, including her BFF Kate Moss, that she wants a divorce, and has gone to stay with her mum in Cheshire.
The couple's 20-month old son Grey has stayed behind with Gardner at their North London home following the split. A source close to the pair said:
"Davinia is devastated but knows it is over. She says their marriage has just stopped. They love each other, but aren't in love. She's upset it's over but says it is the end."
Davinia was literally instrumental in helping Kate Moss get over her break-up with Pete Doherty; after the split the star let her model mate stay with her for months. So by rights Kate should really be nursing Davinia through her troubled times right now. Maybe there’s no room at the inn, eh?
